Susan Temple Neumann Oil Demonstration Sept. 22

Neumann Along the RimIAA’s 2015-2016 year starts off with an oil painter: Guest artist at the Tuesday, September  22nd meeting of the Irving Art Association will be artist Susan Temple Neumann. She’ll be demonstrating her expertise with oils.

The Mixer with refreshments starts at 6:45 and the Meeting at 7:00 pm at the Jaycee Park Center for the Arts in Irving. Artists, don’t forget to bring art for the Artist of the Month competition. Guests are welcome. Directions.

About the Artist:

After graduating with a fine arts degree Susan Temple Neumann had a graphic design business for 30 years. Realizing her dream to paint full-time has deepen her love of travel throughout the western states and abroad. “There’s nothing like being out in nature and trying to capture how I FEEL about a place on canvas – no better teacher than direct observation and nature itself.” Working in oils Susan’s art can best be described as representational in a painterly way. Her work has been in numerous national, museum and gallery shows.

 Neumann DesertedSusan is represented by Weiler House Fine Art Gallery in Ft. Worth, TX. Current shows are the Bosque Art Classic in Clifton, TX, the upcoming Traveling the West show Oct. 23-24 at Southwest Gallery in Dallas and the Coutt’s Museum Paint the Parks 2015 exhibit touring the U.S.
