This new feature preserves the memories we all cherish of IAA activities! The IAA Photo Album is located on the Photobucket.com site (http://s256.photobucket.com/albums/hh176/irvingart/). To find photos, click on one of the sub-albums listed on the left side of the page. They are organized by year or topic and some also have sub-albums themselves, such as the 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2006. To see a larger view of the photos, click on the image to select it. To see a slideshow of the album, click on the Slideshow button located on the top right of the screen.
Over 300 pictures may be viewed and many more are being added! Photos cover such activities as demonstrations, meetings, workshops, award ceremonies, receptions, and more. Detailed pictures of artwork are excluded due to copyright and theft considerations.
Prints of any photo may be ordered through Qoop. Other products such as calendars, greeting cards, mini-photobooks, posters, t-shirts etc. are also available.
Members who would like photos to be added may send them to the webmaster at email@example.com or bring a CD to IAA meetings. Board members may obtain a password for loading pictures. If anyone wishes removal of a photo, please contact the webmaster.
Guidelines for submission of photos: This is not intended as personal galleries for member artwork or for posting winning paintings. The reason: high-resolution images of artwork are open to being stolen and reproduced in larger sizes. All winning paintings placed on the IAA website have had their resolution reduced by the webmaster so this is not profitable. Any artist may open a free account on Photobucket.com themself. If you place artwork there consider reducing it’s resolution to under 100 and its size to under 500×500 to protect your artwork.
