IAA Holiday Crafts at Irving Arts Center’s A Holiday of Masterpieces

Irving Arts Center: A Holiday of Masterpieces celebration in December

For the past 27 years, Irving Arts Center has celebrated the holidays with free family fun, highlighted by the annual Christmas Tree Decoration Competition and the Holiday Open House celebration, which this year embraces the theme: “A Holiday of Masterpieces.”

The free holiday open house event on Friday, December 6th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM features complimentary refreshments, holiday cookies, decorated trees and art. Santa Saturdays feature Christmas crafts on December 7th, 14th and 21st from 2-4pm.

Irving Art Association will be providing holiday craft tables for children during the festivities.

Irving Art Association is again participating in the festivities!

November 24: Tree decorating, 1 pm – Volunteers will decorate the IAA Christmas Tree with ornaments created during our Open Art nights. Contact Michele at michele.quarton@gmail.com if you want to participate.

December 6: Opening night for the IAC Holiday Open house, 5:30 -7:30 pm. IAA is in room 200. We will have tables with holiday crafts on them. Be at the craft tables around 4 -4:30. This is a big night and parking gets tough. All of our supplies can be put back into the IAC art room for storage.

December 7, 14, 21: For Santa Saturdays, we are back in room 200 unless they move us. Bring supplies from the IAC art room.  The event starts at 2 and ends at 4 pm all three Saturdays.

Volunteers needed: One person to be the coordinator for each Santa Saturday. I will not be able to help on December 14th. Let me know when you are all available to help.     Thanks, Michele at michele.quarton@gmail.com.
