Denny Doran: April Spotlight Gallery Exhibit

IAA has again rededicated the West wall near the main entrance in the large gallery for an ongoing members-only art exhibition on a monthly rotation.

April’s honoree is Denny Doran, who is also the Curator for the other two exhibits for April in the large and small galleries. The spotlight will be on Denny March 27 – April 29, 2022. Reception for all the artists will be Saturday, April 16 from 6 – 9 pm. Gallery hours: Tuesdays 10:30-3:00, Wednesdays & Saturdays 1-4 pm.

Artist Bio:

Denny Doran has lived and worked in the metroplex since arriving in 1983. He is a graduate of Notre Dame University and has a Master’s in Fine Art degree from Kansas University. Having lived in the Design District for 25 years, for 12 years Denny produced an artspace for homeless artists at The Bridge in downtown Dallas and curated and produced a series of shows titled “From The Street”.

Denny has known and worked with John Kuehne and Ty Milner for over 25 years and is honored to curate these shows.

Denny is currently serving as Membership Chair for the Irving Art Association and as Exhibit Chair for the annual Texas & Neighbors Regional Art Exhibition, which will be on view at the Irving Arts Center in May.
