2021 Texas & Neighbors Exhibition opens May 15 with $10,000 in awards
The Texas & Neighbors Regional Art Exhibition is an annual collaboration between the Irving Art Association and the Irving Arts Center. This exhibition we are celebrating its 36th year.
74 works were selected by the juror from 771 submitted. The exhibition will be on view May 15 – July 10, 2021 (extended from June 12) at the Main Gallery of the Irving Arts Center. A 360-degree online tour will be available soon after the exhibit opening on the website http://irvingartscenter.com. Or you can view the art in person. Free reservations, with social distancing and wearing masks observed. Irving Arts Center is located at 3333 N. MacArthur in Irving. Gallery hours: Tuesday-Saturday: noon to 5 PM.

The Juror is Andrea Karnes, Senior Curator at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. She has awarded $10,000 in prizes to 24 artists. (For a video of the juror’s remarks, click here.)
