2020 IAA Members Online Awards Show call for art – FREE

The tradition of having an annual members awards show goes back 65 years to the founding of the association. To continue it during this time of quarantine, we are hosting the show online as a virtual gallery. (We do plan to open our gallery again in September.)

To introduce you to this new format, there is no entry fee. All works meeting requirements will be accepted. In place of a juror, awards will be determined by a poll of the membership. The top three artists will receive $100 each, and the artist with the most votes will also be offered a free online gallery (up to 15 pieces) hosted on our website for a year.

Images will be posted in a gallery for public viewing by July 10th. Voting on awards will begin then. Results will be announced by the end of July.

DEADLINE for Entry: June 30, 2020 by midnight

— IMAGES ARE REQUIRED since this is a virtual exhibit. File size limit: 3MB or a total of 10MB for all files. Note: Please rename your images (jpeg or png): Lastname, Firstname Artwork Title.

Note: To crop, resize or rename your images,
try an online image editor — we recommend Pixlr.

Must be an IAA member for the 2019-2020 or 2020-2021 dues year. To join or renew, go to the Membership page.

Limited to three images – an additional piece will be accepted for the Special Challenge Topic.

All categories of art media and photography are acceptable with no size limitations on the artwork. There is no subject limitation except for frontal nudity and copyright/trademark infractions. Any final decision regarding acceptance of a particular image will be at the discretion of the exhibit curator and the IAA Exhibit Chairperson.

SPECIAL CHALLENGE topic: the current COVID-19 situation and issues relating to it (for 4th piece of art.)

Multi-panel art (Diptych, Triptych, etc.) can be entered, either as a combined image or as separate images.

All entries must be original and completed within the last three years and not exhibited in a past annual Members Show.

All sales are between the artist and the buyer. Artist is liable for all taxes. A 10% donation to IAA will be appreciated.
