Registration is open for the August 18th Copic Club class (to be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Jaycee Arts Center in Irving, TX).
During last month’s class – we talked about doing either a pop-up card or a Christmas project. I decided to give you both!
Our first project will be this elegant poinsettia and holly card where we’ll be working with images stamped in colored ink to give that “no lines” natural look! Both the poinsettia and the card are 3D.
- Use and choose colored ink for your stamped images for that “no lines” look
- Create contrast between petals and leaves without the use of black lines
- Add dimension to your cards
- Color snow
- Create your own patterned paper with Copics
- Work with metallic papers.
- And more!
Ready to sign up and join in the fun? Just respond to this e-mail. Available spots are on a first come, first serve basis and I anticipate this class will fill fast.
The August Copic Club class fee is $25. Suggested marker colors will be sent once payment is received.
Interested in this class but never taken one of my Copic classes before? Copic 101 is the pre-requisite for all monthly Copic Club classes. My next beginner class will be offered September 15th from 1-3:30 p.m. Cost is $35. If interested, I’d love to have you join us! Just e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know if you are a new student and would like to start the registration process.
***CRAFT GARAGE SALE DELAYED***
One last announcement… due to an unexpected business trip this month, I won’t have time to prep for my annual Craft Garage Sale. It will be rescheduled from August to sometime later this year/early next. I’ll let you guys know the new date as soon as I have it!
