Major changes have been made in this year’s Wildlife Art Competition. Entries have switched to a digital entry format (either online or jpegs on CD) for preselection of entries. Previously paintings were dropped off and juried in or out by the judge. The deadline has also moved up a month to August 20 to allow for the selection process. Payment may be made as usual by check or now online by Paypal.
Entries are also no longer limited to the local area — we now accept shipped entries vis UPS and have made arrangements to store them. The competition has gone national!
The types of artwork accepted have also expanded to include photography and sculpture. The entry categories are:
- Oil, acrylic on canvas paintings
- Mixed media, collage
- Drawing media & hand-pulled graphics
- Photography & sculpture
