Entries for IAA’s Wildlife Art Show entries are due Aug. 20 and have switched to a digital entry format (either online or jpegs on CD) for preselection of entries. Previously paintings were dropped off and juried in or out by the judge. The deadline has been moved up a month to August 20 to allow for the digital selection process.
IAA DIGITAL NIGHT Aug. 5: Irving Art Association members that wish to enter the upcoming Wildlife Juried Art Competition and need their work digitally photographed for entry may bring their works to the Jaycee Center for the Arts on Tuesday, August 5th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm to have them photographed and entered into the digital database of entries for the show. The image submitted must be free of any matting or framing to be considered so please have your works un-matted and un-framed for the photography. Please bring your completed entry form and the works information tags completed and your $35 entry fee. Please RSVP to Ron Stephens by phone at 972-986-7133 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you were unable to attend the Digital Night on August 5th, you have another opportunity. A second Digital Night has been added for any member this coming Friday, Aug. 15th, 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Jaycee Center . Same requirements apply as before – contact Ron Stephens for more information.
If you’re not an IAA member or haven’t paid your dues, you may participate by joining IAA on Digital Night! For more entry details see the prospectus on the Wildlife entry page at irvingart.org/wildlife. Payment may be made as usual by check or now online by Paypal.
