IAA will have a tree in Irving Art Center’s

25th Annual Holiday Exhibition and Tree Decorating Competition!

Sunday, November 19  2-4pm
Help us decorate it with Mexican Tin Ornaments we’ll create this Sunday at the Jaycee Park Center for the Arts. Junanne Peck will show us how to do it! Supplies will be provided.

Participants of all ages will explore the vibrant folk art of Oaxaca Mexico. Tin is a common material used in the popular arts of Mexico.
We will be making tin ornaments out of tooling foil to display in windows, Christmas trees, and on the wall. We will use tin ornaments from Mexico as patterns.
